چکیده
To date, the evaluation of performance Mediterranean native plants under urban green roof conditions has been limited to monoculture studies. However, grow naturally in plant communities and therefore it is interest evaluate their growth realistic conditions, including interactions among species. The present study aims growth, flowering, self-reproduction capacity three artificially created consisting plants, as exemplified Greece shallow substrate depths (8 15 cm) two irrigation regimes (high, 20% ETo low, 10% ETo). (PC) were designed resemble xerophytic vegetation found either Chania, Crete (PC-1), a combined pattern with from Attica, Crete, Cyclades (Kythnos) (PC-2), or coastal Attica (PC-3). Each artificial (PC-1, PC-2 PC-3) consisted nine species subspecies. deeper significantly improved flowering survival most taxa. regime was not significant for all except one, indicating that minimal amounts are required. Four did manage bloom while able self-reproduce.
